In signing up for the services, students will be required to create a profile. This will entail providing the following information:

(e) Student Number

(f) Name of institution

As a student, you will use the website to:

(a) Create student profile providing student number, institution and other personal details.

(b) Apply for internships, undertake live project briefs, network with industry contacts and register for events.
(c) Collaborate with and connect with organisations across your industry.
(d) Carry out U.HQ regulated and approved student placements within organisations .

(e) Review organisations, provide feedback and testimonials.

(f) Review the website and its user experience.

As a student, you have the right to select:

(a) Which organisation to apply for an internship with
(b) Which organisation to undertake a live project brief with
(c) Which organisation to contact for industry networking and advice
(d) Which industry/organisation events to attend

1.2 Organisation use

In signing up for the services, organisations will be required to create a profile. This will entail providing the following information:

(a) Organisation name
(b) Organisation personal contact name

(d) Organisation personal contact telephone number

(e) Password

As an organisation, you will use the website to:

(a) Create organisation profile providing organisation name, organisation contact and other personal details.
(b) Publish internship opportunities, live project briefs, contacts within the organisation and events for students.
(c) Collaborate with and connect with students across your industry.
(d) Carry out U.HQ regulated and approved student placements.
(e) Review students, provide feedback and testimonials.
(f) Review the website and its user experience.

As an organisation, you have the right to select:

(a) Which student to accept into your internship program
(b) Which student to accept to undertake your live project briefs
(c) Whether or not to accept and run with the student’s project pitch at the completion of the project brief

2. PAYMENT

By signing up for services with U.HQ, you agree that:

(a) Organisation and student profiles are free of charge.
(b) Basic advertisements of internship placements, project briefs and events are free of charge.

(c) Priority advertisements of internship placements, project briefs and events will have an additional cost.
(d) Opting to be a U.HQ partner will have an additional monthly services fee.

3. U.HQ PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT

As a U.HQ partner organisation, you will use the website in the same manner as any organisation.

Additional services include:

(a) Priority advertisement of internship placements, project briefs and events at no additional cost.
(b) Organisation promotion across U.HQ social media and other media at no additional cost.
(c) Priority selection of students for internship placements, project briefs, mentoring and events.
(d) Ability to collaborate with U.HQ on any important or high profile projects

As a U.HQ partner, you agree to:

(a) Pay a monthly services fee
(b) Contribute at least one internship placement, project brief and event per month.

4. COMPLIANCE AND MISUSE OF DATA

As a member of U.HQ, you agree to comply with the following:

(a) you will not share your profile with any other person;
(b) you will comply with regulations and law in the use of the platform

(d) you agree to notify U.HQ of any unauthorised use of your password or email address or any breach of security that you become aware of
(e) you must not create a fake profile or impersonate another individual or organisation
(f) all information you publish is accurate and in no way defamatory

(g) you will not harass, impersonate, stalk or threaten any other member

(h) you will not engage in any automated use of U.HQ or its services

In the incidence of a breach of any of the above terms, U.HQ reserves the right to terminate your account immediately and report you to relevant authorities. U.HQ can terminate your account at any time if required to do so by law.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

U.HQ and its services are subject to copyright. All material on the platform has copyright protection under the laws of Australia and through international treaties. Unless otherwise indicated, all materials including text, graphics, logos, button icons, video images, audio clips, website, design elements, business name, domain name and interactive features are owned or controlled by U.HQ under these rights, and are reserved by U.HQ or its contributors. Under no circumstances are these to be copied or redistributed without the written permission of U.HQ.

6. PRIVACY

U.HQ takes user privacy very seriously. Any information provided by users to the website will remain strictly confidential and only used in the above ways for the purpose of fulfilling our services for users.
