Our story starts much like any other students.
We were hungry for experiences and opportunities to connect us with the outside world and yet, we found ourselves constantly returning to the same roadblocks:
There is a limited availability of industry experience for students pre-graduation, and the opportunities that do exist are often difficult to access or exploitative in nature.
We don’t think university students should have to search far and wide for real-world work experience. So, we’re creating a one-stop shop that is regulated and complete with all the resources students will need to get their foot in the door and begin to build their professional portfolios.

We are a team of three determined young minds who came together during our university days to bring about positive change for students. We know what it is like to be a student, as well as what organisations can benefit from providing real professional experience for pre-graduates. Collaborating to utilise our individual strengths, we created U.HQ which was born from our own struggles and ability to think “big-picture”. We believe in the value of this platform to enrich both students and industry organisations towards aligned end goals.

Opportunities include live project briefs, internships, conference events and much more. These are provided by organisations, not-for-profits, startups and universities contributing to the U.HQ platform.
