STUDENTS
We don’t think university students should have to search far and wide for real-world work experience. We also don’t believe that workplace exploitation, crazy hours for little reward and inequality are ‘all part of the job’.
So, for students, our platform will bring about job experience, network opportunities, professional references, and that perfect extra something to put on the resume!
We’ve done the research, and we know that students participating in industry-based projects gain a richer set of experiences through “dealing with real problems rather than simple, or even complicated, academic exercises” (Chamillard, 2002).
We’ve also found that students working with genuine projects as opposed to hypothetical university briefs are more motivated and interested in what they’re doing.
What you want is to feel confident, well connected and skilled enough to enter a job after graduation, right?
U.HQ is the perfect place to do so. Our one stop shop is complete with all the resources students will need to get their foot in the door, connect with organisations and gain valuable experience in a fair and equitable environment for all.
ORGANISATIONS
We’re enhancing organisations’ connectivity and accessibility. We’ve established that students have a hard time finding employment and networking opportunities to cater to their skill sets and desires. But let’s reverse the roles. On the flip side, organisations find it difficult to source and create relationships with students through impersonal and broad-disciplined job search websites.
That’s where we come in!
We’re the meeting point, providing organisations with a controlled environment to source, monitor and communicate with students across any discipline and institution. We give organisations a direct and structured link to students, who can offer a fresh perspective and youthful mindset. Who wouldn’t want that?
Project collaborations and internships provide an excellent way to discover graduate talent, which affords oranisations a simply recruitment process and a way of testing out potential future employees.
Students can help improve the structure and functioning of the institution - and it’s also a great way for organisations to boost their employability score and appeal to students further for post-graduate opportunities.

Our partnership program maximises organisation benefits and gives you preferential access to students and greater engagement opportunities. As a partner organisation, you’ll be a regular contributor of opportunities and industry contacts.
In return, in return we will promote your organisation and available opportunities as priority on our hub. This is a great way to form meaningful connections, as you’ll be able to keep in touch with students, advertise your events and services at no additional cost and be first priority across our platform.
Partners can be anyone from small organisations with limited budgets looking for student help, to large organisations wanting to take on board and mentor students. Our only prerequisite is that you align with our values and your opportunities are fair and equitable (which we’ll be researching - don’t you worry!)
